Agnes (Orsag) Marenkovic, of Hermitage, passed away peacefully on Thursday April 11th, 2019 in John XXIII Nursing Home. She was 90 years old.
Agnes was born on May 8th, 1928 to Elek and Mary (Poszonyi) Orsag in Sharpsville, PA. She graduated from Sharpsville High School class of 1946. After graduation, Agnes worked for Westinghouse Electric Inc. from 1946 to 1963 when she retired. She married the late George Marenkovic on May 11th, 1963. George preceded her in death November 23rd, 1987.
She was a member of St. Bartholomew R.C. Church where she was active in the Altar and Rosary Society. She was also a member of the Greek Catholic Union Lodge 164 and the Youngstown Jewish Community Center in their aquatic class. She volunteered for years at the Prince of Peace center.
Agnes is survived by her sister Hazel (John) Kukuda of Sharpsville, 6 nieces and nephews, John Kukuda of Valrico, FL, Daniel (Linda) Kukuda of Leesburg, GA, Barbara Ann (Joseph) Kubinski of Warren, OH, Helen (Ron) Dieszi of Havasu City, AZ, 19 grand nieces and nephews, 22 great great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband George, sister, Mary Feedler, niece, Shirley Jane Powell, niece, Mary Ann Dumahl, nephew, John Feedler, and great niece, Connie Powell.
Friends may call Monday April 15th, 2019 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm in St. Bartholomew R.C. Church 311 W. Ridge Ave. Sharpsville, PA 16150.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:00 pm in St. Bartholomew R.C. Church Sharpsville, PA with Father Matthew Strickenberger, officiating.
Burial will take place in Holy Trinity Catholic Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be sent to St. Bartholomew R.C. Church 311 W. Ridge Ave. Sharpsville, PA 16150, in memory of Agnes.
