Marian I. Snider, 85, of Sharpsville, passed away peacefully Sunday April 21st, 2024 in Saint John XXIII Home, following an illness.
Marian was born June 4th, 1938, the second child of Jim and Lou Emma (Klett) Baer in Polk, PA.
She owned Orangeville Tavern for 17 years before semi-retiring. In addition, Marian worked at Denny’s, The Cookery, and Rosemont. She finally retired in 2005.
Marian enjoyed gardening, sewing, puzzle books, and watching game shows. Most importantly, she loved and enjoyed her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great granddaughter.
She is survived by her daughter, Victoria (James) Mitchell of Orangeville; sister, Pat Thompson of Mercer; 3 grandchildren, John (Michelle) Derr of Hubbard, OH, Ronald (Amanda) Brannon of Kinsman, OH, Gwendolyn Mitchell (Andrew Nash) of Orangeville, OH; 11 great-grandchildren, Jimmy, Zoey, Johnny, Jordan, Ryan, Sam, Isaac, Luke, Simon, Isaih, and Micha and one great-great granddaughter, Gracie.
Marian was preceded in death by her companion of 40 years Jerry Ansinger, her parents, sister, Donna Miller, and two brother in-laws.
Friends may call Tuesday April 30th, 2024 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm in the Donaldson-Mohney Funeral Home & Crematory 124 W. Main St. Sharpsville, PA 16150.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday April 30th, 2024 at 6:45 pm officiated by Bill Wiess in the Donaldson-Mohney Funeral Home & Crematory 124 W. Main St. Sharpsville, PA 16150.
Burial will take place in Westside Cemetery on May 1st, 2024.
