William Peter Kranich ,87, formerly of Sharpsville, passed away peacefully on March 11th, 2021 in Clepper Manor Sharon, PA.
William was born June 22nd, 1933 to Anna (Zvonik) and Paul Kranich in Sharpsville, PA. He was a graduate of Sharpsville High School. He served honorably in the U.S. Army. William worked for Westinghouse Inc. as head craneman until his retirement. On September 1st, 1956 he married his wife, the late Connie L. (Canon) Kranich who passed away January 5th, 2021.
He was a member of St. Bartholomew R.C. Church in Sharpsville. William was also a member of the Sharpsville American Legion and VFW Post 6404. He was a die-hard Cleveland Indians baseball fan who also followed Sharpsville High School sports. William enjoyed gambling trips with his wife, fishing with his friends, and reminiscing about the past with friends and family.
William is survived by his daughter in law, Diana Kranich, brother, Paul Kranich, several nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his dear friend since grade school, George “Chucher” Deal.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Connie, son, William Kranich Jr., brother, George, sisters, Olga, Mary, and Emma.

Mass of Christian Burial to honor William and his wife Connie, will be held Monday March 15th, 2021 at 12:00 pm in St. Bartholomew R.C. Church with Father Matthew Strickenberger, officiating. Friends are welcome to meet directly at church.
Burial will take place in Westside Cemetery.
