V. Maxine Hasenplug, 87, of Greenville, passed away peacefully of natural causes at 2:40 am on Wednesday August 12th, 2015 in Greenville, PA.
Viola was born on August 3rd, 1928 to Raymond and Ruby (Bernard) Hipkins in Sharpsville, PA. Viola was a homemaker. She also worked at the A & P Market in Greenville prior to her marriage. On November 15th, 1949 she married the late Dale W. Hasenplug, who passed away September 2nd, 2008.
She enjoyed sewing, word search puzzles, playing the piano, gardening, was known to have a green thumb, and well known for her baked goods.
Viola is survived by her loving daughters - Linda J. (Nick) Glus of Johnson, OH, Carla J. (Mark) Reichard of Greenville, PA, Donna L. (Dave) King of Greenville, PA, Cheryl L. (Tim) Weyant of Mercer, PA, Karen L. (Scott) Carlson of Elizabethtown, PA; brother - Albert (Nancy)Hipkins of Transfer, PA, also surviving are 11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by father, Raymond Hipkins, mother, Ruby Hipkins, and husband, Dale W, Hasenplug.
Friends may call Friday, August 14th, 2015 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm and Saturday August 15th, 2015 from 1 pm to 2 pm at Donaldson-Mohney Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 124 Main St. Sharpsville, PA.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 15th, 2015, at 2:00 pm in the Donaldson-Mohney Funeral Home, Sharpsville, PA, with Rev. Sean Hall of Hillside Presbyterian Church Greenville, PA, officiating.
Burial will take place in Americas Cemetery Hermitage, PA.
