Thomas Wynn Swearingen

Thomas Wynn Swearingen passed away suddenly on August 8, 2025. He was 59 years old.
Thomas was born on March 19, 1966 to Freda (Cochran) and John Swearingen in Pittsburgh,
PA. After completing High School he worked as a mechanic.
He loved riding motorcycles, and ATV’s, playing poker with his family, hunting, and fishing,
but most of all Thomas loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. He loved the
Pittsburgh Steelers and the Pittsburgh Penguins. In his younger years he enjoyed writing, and
muscle cars.
Thomas is survived by children Jessica Swearingen (Wayne Chresty), Carol Swearingen (Nico
Johnson), Thomas Swearingen Jr., John T. Swearingen (Trish), and Steven Swearingen (Brittany
McCall), fiancé Marty Weilacker, sisters Sherry (Johnny) Schweinber and Karen Swearingen,
cousin James Mansfield, step-son Jeffrey Vanord, and grandchildren Draven, Ronan, Aurora,
Lyla, Malinda, John Jr., Marley, Atticus, and Maddie.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and an aunt Rita Mansfield.
Services will be held privately.
