Terry Wayne Goodnight Sr., 62, of Sharpsville, passed away 10:30 am on April 30, 2013 at the Sharon Regional Health System Sharon, PA.
Terry was born on March 20, 1951 to Eugene L. and Geraldine (Ewing) Goodnight in Sharon, PA. Terry worked on automobiles painting and doing body work. He also worked on the Erie Lackawanna Railroad as a brakeman. He was a member of the Eagles Club in Sharon, enjoyed working on model trains and metal replicas, fishing, hunting, racing cars, and was a golden glove boxer. Christmas was Terry’s favorite holiday.
Terry is survived by his daughter - Teri L. Porterfield of Patigonia, PA; 3 sons - Terry (Jessica) Goodnight Jr. of Sharpsville, PA, Randy (LaBrina) Goodnight of New Castle, PA, Cody Gilmore of Wheatland, PA; 2 sisters - Tammy L. Sherman of Sharpsville, PA, Jeananne Metzger and her boyfriend Jim Losinger of Sharpsville, PA; brother - Benny DeMartinis of Florida; 11 Grandchildren - Blaine, Braden, Jade, Nathan, Destiny, Avery Goodnight, Tazlynne, James, Tyler Edison, Schuylar Gilmore, Alexandra Francis; 5 nieces - Gia Hart, Kerry Sherman, Kelly Sherman, Nikki Metzger, Shawna Metzger; nephew - Chet Sherman; Special Aunt - Irene DeBonis and Special Friend - Tootie Macko.
He was preceded in death by father, Eugene L. Goodnight, mother, Geraldine Goodnight, brother, William Goodnight and niece, Rachel Goodnight.
Visitation will be held Saturday, May 04, 2013 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Donaldson-Mohney Funeral Home, 124 Main St. Sharpsville, PA.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 4, 2013, 11:00 am at the Donaldson-Mohney Funeral Home, Sharpsville, PA.
Burial will take place in the Westside Cemetery.
