Shirley Jean Scott, 78, of Manheim, PA passed away peacefully on Sunday March 26th, 2017 at Wellspan Good Samaritan Hospital in Lebanon, PA.
Shirley was born on July 18th, 1938 to John and Delores (Bartholomew) Bartolin in Sharon, PA. After graduating from high school, Shirley worked as a Supervisor for Q-PAK. She married the late Donald A. Scott, who passed away in 1991.
She was of Catholic faith. Shirley was a lifelong Pittsburgh Steelers, Pirates, Reynolds Raider wrestling fan even before her sons were involved. She was an avid reader, and enjoyed watching her sons and grandchildren play sports. She also grew flowers and plants.
Shirley is survived by her sons, Mark and his wife, Terri Scott of Houston TX, Bryan and his wife, Pat Scott of Lebanon, PA, grandchildren, Casey and Kyle Scott; “JD” Jeremy and wife Jackie, Jason and Jocelyn Scott. Also surviving is great grandson, Jackson Scott, brother-in-law and sister-in-law Larry and Sue Scott of Sharpsville, PA, sister-in-law Jennie Scott of Hermitage, PA and numerous nieces and nephews. Shirley was an only child.
She was preceded in death by father, Mark Rodocoy, mother, Delores A. Rodocoy, and husband of 30 years, Donald A. Scott.
A graveside service will be held Saturday April 1st, 2017 at 10:00 am in Americas Cemetery with Rev. Mike Carlin, officiating.
Burial will take place in Americas Cemetery.
