Shirley Grimm Obituary
Shirley Jean Grimm, 85, of Hermitage, passed away 6:52 pm on Saturday March 28th, 2015 at her home in Hermitage, PA following an extended illness.
Shirley was born on December 7th, 1929 to Chester and Sidney (Prince) Roberts in Sharpsville, PA. She graduated from Sharpsville High School. Shirley was a wonderful mother and homemaker. On April 29th, 1949 she married her husband of 65 years, Walter B. Grimm who survives at home.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Sharpsville for 66 years. Shirley enjoyed quilting, especially at the First Baptist Church in Sharpsville. She also loved gardening, baking, shopping, and most importantly spending time with her family and grandchildren.
Shirley is survived by her loving husband Walter, 2 sons - Walter J. (Tammy) Grimm, Richard O. (Mishia Emery) Grimm; brother - Merle Roberts; 5 Grandchildren - Micki Grimm, Jacob Grimm, Adam Grimm, Matthew Grimm, and Samantha Emery.
She was preceded in death by father, Chester Roberts, mother, Sidney Roberts, sister, Edna Hickman, sister, Mae Taylor, sister, Kathleen Kane, and brother, John Roberts.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 31st, 2015 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Donaldson-Mohney Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 124 Main St. Sharpsville, PA.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 1st, 2015, 11:00 am at the Donaldson-Mohney Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Sharpsville, PA, with Pastor Wayne Sutton, officiating.
Burial will take place in the Mount Washington Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be sent to the First Baptist Church in Sharpsville 185 Union Ave. Sharpsville, PA 16150.
