Sally Veva (Rapp) Kocis

Sally Veva Kocis, 73, of Sharpsville, passed away peacefully 4:10 am on Sunday December 6th, 2015 at Nugent Convalescent Home in Hermitage, PA.  
  
Sally was born on December 5th, 1942 to Fred C. “Bud” and Mae S. (Burt) Rapp in Grove City, PA. She graduated from Sharpsville High School class of 1960. Sally worked as a Switchboard Operator for Wheatland Tube. On May 4th, 1963 she married her husband John J. Kocis, who survives at home.
  
She was a member of St. Bartholomew Roman Catholic Church. Sally enjoyed camping in her earlier years. Most important to her was spending time with her family and her grandchildren.
  
Sally is survived by her loving husband John J. Kocis at home, daughter - Suzanne Kocis of Farrell, PA; 3 sons - Christopher (Karen) Kocis of Sharpsville, PA, Timothy Kocis of Sharpsville, PA, Andrew (Patti) Kocis of Sharpsville, PA; 4 Grandchildren - Emily, Paige, Sarah, and Rachel.
  
She was preceded in death by father, Fred C. "Bud" Rapp, mother, Mae S. Rapp, sister, Mary Jane Sherman, and brother in law, Chester L. Sherman.
  
Friends may call Tuesday, December 8th, 2015 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Donaldson-Mohney Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 124 Main St. Sharpsville, PA.
    
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, December 9th, 2015, 11:00 am at St. Bartholomew Roman Catholic Church, Sharpsville, PA, with Father Jeff Noble, officiating.
  
Burial will take place in St. Rose Cemetery.
