Ruth E. (Heile) Morrison

Ruth E. Morrison, 99, of Connellys Springs, NC passed away on July 16th, 2016 at College Pines Health and Rehabilitation Center in Connelly Springs, NC.  
  
Ruth was born on January 31st, 1917 to Ralph and Mary (Stoyer) Heile in Transfer, PA. She attended Transfer High School and lived in Transfer for 80 years. On October 5th, 1939 she married the late Oran Morrison who passed away on August 3rd, 1970.
  
She was a lifelong member of Zion United Church of Christ in Transfer, PA where she served in the women’s guild. Ruth was also a member of the church quilting group for over 50 years. She loved being a homemaker, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great great grandmother.
  
Ruth is survived by her three daughters, Mary Drayer and her husband Roger, Carolyn Lytle and her husband Robert, Dorothy Wunker and her husband Russell; son, Leroy Morrison and his wife Kathy; 9 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren.
  
She was preceded in death by father, Ralph Heile, mother, Mary Heile, husband, Oran Morrison, brother, Leroy Heile, brother, Emerison Heile, brother, Robert Heile, and sister, Dorothy Frampton.
  
Friends may call Friday, July 29th, 2016, from 10:00 am to 11:30 am at Donaldson-Mohney Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 124 Main St. Sharpsville, PA.
    
Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 29th, 2016, 11:30 am in the Donaldson-Mohney Funeral Home, Sharpsville, PA, with Ruth’s son, Leroy Morrison, officiating.
  
Burial will take place in the Transfer Cemetery.
