Robert L. “Bob” McCullough, 69, of Transfer, passed away on Monday March 28th, 2016 at Avalon Springs Nursing Home in Mercer, PA.
Robert was born on May 14th, 1946 to Darrell and Virginia (Moyer) McCullough in Greenville, PA. He graduated from Reynolds High School. Robert worked for Blazon in Jamestown, PA and part time for D.J. McCullough water-well drilling. He was of protestant faith.
He enjoyed playing bingo, attending races at Mercer Raceway Park, and bowling with his friends at Thornton Hall. Robert also enjoyed watching old western movies and was an avid Dallas Cowboys Football fan.
Robert is survived by his two sisters, Shirley A. (Arthur) Rickert of Transfer, PA and Beverly “Becky” McCullough also of Transfer, PA. Also surviving is a niece, Shelley (Shannon) Brightbill, nephew, William “Bill” (Paula) Rickert, great nephews, Logan and Cole Rickert, Connor Bightbill, and great niece Morgan Brightbill.
He was preceded in death by father, Darrell McCullough and mother, Virginia McCullough.
Friends may call Saturday April 2nd, 2016 from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm at the Donaldson-Mohney Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 124 Main St. Sharpsville, PA.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday April 2nd, 2016 at 2:00 pm in the Donaldson-Mohney Funeral Home with Rev. Joseph Yurko, officiating.
Burial will take place in Rickert Church Cemetery Transfer, PA.
