Robert C. Faller, 79 of Sharpsville, PA passed away in his home with family by his side on Saturday, January 21st, 2017 after a brief illness.
Mr. Faller was born to Clarence and Anne (Obermiyer) Faller in Sharon, PA on February 17th, 1937. He graduated from Brookfield High School class of 1955. He was a veteran who served in the United States Navy from 1955-1959.
Robert married the former Catherine Veronica "Ronnie" Fustos on November 2nd, 1957 in the First United Methodist Church of Sharpsville, PA, where he remained a faithful member.
He began his career at Mike Ristvey's television shop in Sharon, PA. He opened Faller and Allen Electronics with his cousin, Jack Allen, in 1967 and continued to operate until his retirement in 1992.
He participated in a Monday night P&A mixed bowling league and a Thursday night men’s bowling league for several years. He was a member of the Hermitage YMCA, Sharpsville American Legion and volunteered at the Hermitage VA Clinic.
He was an avid camper, fisherman, and Steeler fan. He loved spending time with his family at Holiday Camplands in Andover, OH where he had a camp for over 40 years.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, daughter, Deborah K. Setterberg and her husband John, of Hermitage, PA, son-in-law, Russell Taylor of Brookfield, OH, grandchildren, Courtney Correa of Hermitage, PA, Joshua Taylor and wife Andrea of Cleveland, OH, Amanda Thompson and husband Steven of Conneaut Lake, PA, and Elizabeth Martinez and husband Juan of Pittsburgh, PA, also surviving is a great-granddaughter Kimberly Correa of Hermitage, PA.
He is preceded in death by his parents and daughter, Tammy Taylor.
Friends may call Tuesday January 24th, 2017 from 5 pm to 7 pm in the Donaldson-Mohney Funeral Home & Cremation Service 124 Main St. Sharpsville, PA 16150.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday January 24th, 2017 at 7 pm in the Donaldson-Mohney Funeral Home & Cremation Service Sharpsville, PA with Rev. Joseph Yurko, officiating.
Full military honors will be offered for Robert’s service.
Burial will take place in Riverside Cemetery.
