Richard Marriotti Obituary
Richard M. Marriotti, 69, of Sharpsville, passed away peacefully 5:30 am on Thursday April 23rd, 2015 at his home in Sharpsville, PA following an extended illness.
Richard was born on May 16th, 1945 to Anthony D. and Stella M. (Rossi) Marriotti in Sharpsville, PA. Richard worked as a shipper for Howell Industries 40 years until his retirement.
He was a member of St. Bartholomew Roman Catholic Church in Sharpsville, PA. Richard was Vice-President of the Lock Stock & Barrel coffee club. He was an avid sports fan who followed Cleveland and Sharpsville sports teams. Richard even planned his vacation days around the start of Sharpsville High School football practice. He also loved muscle cars and his dogs Rusty $ Sassy.
Richard is survived by his 3 brothers – Anthony (Elaine) Marriotti of Sharpsville, PA, Robert J. (Sherry) Marriotti of Hermitage, PA, and David Marriotti of Sharpsville, PA. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by father, Anthony D. Marriotti, mother, Stella M. Marriotti, and nephew, Michael Marriotti.
Visitation will be held Saturday, April 25th, 2015 from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm at Donaldson-Mohney Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 124 Main St. Sharpsville, PA.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 25th, 2015, 1:00 pm at the Donaldson-Mohney Funeral Home, Sharpsville, PA, with Father Matt Strickenberger of St. Bartholomew R.C. Church, officiating.
Burial will take place in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
