Richard D. Bobbie

Richard D. Bobbie, 73, of Sharpsville passed away peacefully in his home, surrounded by his family.

Rich was born September 25th, 1947 in Sharon, PA to Cathleen (Stone) and Michael Bobbie. He was a graduate of Hickory High School class of 1966. Rich worked for Macedonia Bakery, Chadderton Trucking, Westinghouse Inc., and Cattron Electronics until his retirement. On February 12th, 1988 he married his wife, Kathy A. (Shook) Bobbie, who survives at home.

He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Sharpsville. Rich was a former member of the Masonic Lodge. He was an avid Cleveland Indians, Browns, and Sharpsville Sports fan. Rich enjoyed playing in the Westinghouse softball league, watching NASCAR, and hunting. He particularly enjoyed camping and spending time at his camp. Rich cherished time with his family and loved watching his grandchildren at their sporting events.

Rich is survived by his wife, Kathy A. Bobbie, children, Lori (David) Chambers of Fowler, OH, Richard Bobbie of Sharon, Kimberly (Richard) Artherholt of Hermitage, Brian Shepherd and his fiance Miranda Weyand of Boardman, OH, Tiffany (Edward) Boyle of Hermitage, grandchildren, Cassidy (Ian) Sapot, Krystal Shepherd, Ashley Chambers, Amanda Chambers, Nathan Huey, Willow Artherholt, Kalina Artherholt, Tyler Boyle, and Alyssa (Jon) Jancso. Also surviving are his siblings, Jerry Bobbie, Rebecca Wantuch, Paul Bobbie, and Peggy Bobbie.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Mike (Ann) Bobbie, sister, Maria Wingard, and son in law, Jeffrey Huey.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be sent to Sharon Regional Hospice in memory of Rich.

Private services will be held.
