Patricia A. (Nickel) McKnight

Patricia A. McKnight, 88, of Transfer, passed away on November 3rd, 2015 following complications from a fall.  
  
Patricia was born on April 2nd, 1927 to Leda B. and Bessie (Hanlin) Nickel in Clarksville, PA. She attended Hickory High School. Patricia worked as a Bus Driver, 26 years, for Watson Inc., Bortner, and Garrett Bus Companies. On August 7th, 1944 she married the late Clarence A. McKnight who passed away on February 27th, 1991.
  
She was a member of Clark Trinity United Methodist Church. Patricia enjoyed traveling with her husband and going on bus trips. She loved to bake, especially cookies.
  
Patricia is survived by her 2 daughters - Marsha A. Hackett of Clearwater, FL, Cynthia L. (Mark) Henry of Sharpsville, PA; son - Keith A. (Eileen) McKnight of Transfer, PA; sister - Margaret "Peg" Patton of Sharon, PA; 4 Grandchildren - Christopher R. Hackett and his companion Kim Crawford, Jared J. (Peggy) McKnight, Gregory K. (Barbara) McKnight, Katie L. (Jeffrey) Grande; also surviving are 9 great grandchildren.
  
She was preceded in death by father, Leda B. Nickel, mother, Bessie Nickel, husband, Clarence A. McKnight, 5 sisters, Harriet Nickel, Grace Reash, Mary Everett, Betty Hall, Bessie Everett, 5 brothers, Ralph Nickel, Wilbert Nickel, William Nickel, Kenneth Nickel, Wayne Nickel, and granddaughter, Michelle Hackett.
  
Friends may call Thursday November 5th, 2015 from 2 pm to 4 pm and 6 pm to 8 pm at the Donaldson-Mohney Funeral Home & Cremation Service 124 Main St. Sharpsville, PA 16150.
    
Funeral services will be held on Friday, November, 6th, 2015 at 11:00 am in the Donaldson-Mohney Funeral Home, with Rev. William Locke, officiating.
  
Burial will take place in Americas Cemetery.
