Mary Kitch Obituary
Mary Genevieve Kitch, 94, of Erie, PA formally Sharpsville, passed away on Thursday December 27th, 2018 in Sarah Reed Nursing Home.
Mary was born in Sharpsville, PA to Raymond Edward and Kathryn Elizabeth (Cook) Freddo on August 12th, 1924. She was a graduate of Sharpsville High School. On October 22nd, 1947 Mary wed her husband, the late Robert Walter Kitch, who passed away March 3rd, 2001.
She was a member of St. Bartholomew Church where she was active and a eucharistic minister. She regularly visited the homebound members of St. Bartholomew’s Church. Most important to Mary was her family whom she loved spending time with.
Mary is survived by her daughters, Kay Kitch and spouse Susan Doss of Erie, PA, Debbie and her spouse Ron Hedglin of Warren, OH, 2 grandchildren, Adam Hedglin, Kara (Michael) Steward, 2 great grandchildren, Mariah and Michael Steward. Also surviving are cousins and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Robert Walter Kitch, brother Raymond Freddo Jr. and an infant brother.
Friends may call Sunday December 30th, 2018 from 4 pm to 7 pm at Donaldson-Mohney Funeral Home & Cremation Service 124 Main St. Sharpsville, PA 16150.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday December 31st, 2018 at 10:00 am in St. Bartholomew Catholic Church with Father John Jacquel officiating. Friends are welcome to meet directly at church.
Entombment will take place in St. Rose Mausoleum Hermitage, PA.
