Mary DeJulia Obituary
Mary D. DeJulia, 83, of Sharpsville, passed away 11:40 pm on Tuesday May 13, 2013 in UPMC Farrell following an extended illness.
She was born on December 12, 1929 to Petro and Maria (Rzucidlo) Gierchak in Sharon, PA. She graduated from Farrell High School. Mary was a Homemaker. She married the late Henry DeJulia who passed away January 1988.
She was a member of St. Bartholomew Roman Catholic Church Sharpsville, PA. Mary was very religious and had a strong faith. She was an avid Bingo player.
Mary is survived by her 3 sons - Henry (Esther) DeJulia of Syracuse, IN, Peter (Mary Beth) DeJulia of Hermitage, PA, Gary DeJulia of Sharpsville, PA; 2 grandsons - Patric DeJulia, Benjamin DeJulia, and great-grandson Logan DeJulia.
She was preceded in death by father, Petro Gierchak, mother, Maria Gierchak, husband, Henry DeJulia, brother, Joseph Gierchak, brother, Paul Gierchak, sister, Sophie Gierchak, brother, John Gierchak, sister, Vicki Waligua, and sister Pauline Shanes.
Visitation will be held Thursday, May 16, 2013 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Donaldson-Mohney Funeral Home, 124 Main St. Sharpsville, PA.
Mass will be held on Friday, May 17, 2013, 10:30 am at the St. Bartholomew Catholic Church, Sharpsville, PA, with Father Marc Stockton, officiating.
Burial will take place in the St. Mary’s Cemetery.
Arrangements entrusted to the Donaldson-Mohney Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
