Martha Mae (Shook) Bathory

Martha Mae Bathory, 73, of Transfer passed away unexpectedly on May 24th, 2021 in Sharon Regional Hospital.

Martha was born February 17th, 1948 to Rose Mae (Auchter) and Harold Francis Shook in Sharon, PA. After graduating from high school, Martha continued her education to become a Licensed Practical Nurse. She worked for Sharon Regional Hospital as an LPN.

She enjoyed crocheting, reading, playing bingo, working crossword puzzles, watching old western movies, taking care of her seagulls, rabbits, and cats. She also enjoyed driving through the country.

Martha is survived by her daughter, Kristie Lynn Bathory of Sharon, brother, Earl (Penny) Shook of Sharpsville, sister, Kathy Bobbie of Sharpsville, sister in law, Regina Shook of Sharpsville, and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Charles Shook, and brother in law, Richard Bobbie.

Friends may call Thursday May 27th, 2021 from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm in the Donaldson-Mohney Funeral Home 124 W. Main St. Sharpsville, PA.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm in the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be sent to the funeral home, in memory of Martha.
