Marjorie Auchter Obituary
Marjorie A. Auchter, 79, of Hermitage, passed away following an extended illness, 6:00 pm on Thursday September 11, 2014 at St. Paul Homes Greenville, PA.
She was born on January 20, 1935 to Verne and Mary (Reichard) Rickert in Sharon, PA. She graduated from Hickory High School class of 1953. Marjorie worked as a Secretary for Reynolds High School until her retirement. On June 4th, 1955 she married the late William H. Auchter who passed away May 12th, 1987.
She was a member of IHS Gospel Ministries Hermitage, PA. Marjorie was also a member of Eastern Star, Shenangoers Camping Club, and the Transfer Garden Club. She enjoyed crocheting, reading, gardening, bowling, and camping.
Marjorie is survived by her daughter - Sheri (Doug) Barlett of Transfer, PA; son - Larry W. (Sandy) Auchter of New Wilmington, PA; brother - Robert (Maryann) Rickert of Chicago, IL; 5 Grandchildren - Melissa (Tom) Martino, Samantha (Kevin) Kantner, Deanna Moose, Kimberly Moose, Angela Moose, and 3 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by father, Verne Rickert, mother, Mary Rickert, husband, William H. Auchter, and grandson - William "Billy" Barlett.
Visitation will be held Sunday, September 14, 2014 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Donaldson-Mohney Funeral Home, 124 Main St. Sharpsville, PA.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 15, 2014, 11:00 am at the Donaldson-Mohney Funeral Home, Sharpsville, PA, with Pastor Charles Eckles, officiating.
Burial will take place in the Delaware Cemetery.
