Marilyn E. Moyer, 80, of Clark, passed away 10:48 pm on Tuesday October 21st, 2014 at UPMC Shenango Valley in Farrell, PA.
Marilyn was born on August 28, 1934 to Kenneth and Lucille (Harshman) Pitts in Sharon, PA. She graduated from Sharon High School. Marilyn was a homemaker. On June 30th, 1956 she married her husband Robert Lee Moyer who survives at home.
She was a member of Faith Presbyterian Church in Hermitage, PA. Marilyn enjoyed reading, baking, and sang in the church choir.
Marilyn is survived by her husband Robert, 2 daughters - Sandra J. Moyer of Transfer, PA, Cherie F. (Michael) Moyer King of Clark, PA; 4 sons - Dan (Stephanie) Moyer of Mercer, PA, Randy Moyer and his companion Trudy Collins of South Pymatuning Township, PA, Todd Moyer and his companion Hope Couch of Greenville, PA, Gary Moyer and his companion Debra Owens of Saunderstown, RI; 2 sisters - Judith Andrews of GA, Sandra (Thom) Chapman of VA; 2 brothers - Phillip (Karen) Pitts, and John (Beverly) Pitts all of Sharon, PA. Also surviving are 2 granddaughters Kristin Moyer, Stacy Collins, 2 grandsons Nicholas King and John (Sue) McNeal, 1 great granddaughter Adalyn Collins, and 4 great grandsons Max McNeal, Fred McNeal, Zachariah Hardman, Giovanni Hardman, and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by father, Kenneth Pitts, mother, Lucille Pitts, grandson Max McNeal, son in law Charles D. Sarvas Jr, and her beloved cat Snow.
Friends may call Tuesday October 28th, 2014 from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm in Faith Presbyterian Church Hermitage, PA.
Memorial services will be held at 12:00 pm on Tuesday October 28th, 2014 in Faith Presbyterian Church Hermitage, PA with Rev. James N. Latta, officiating.
Internment will take place at Glenwood Cemetery.
