Louise Burt Obituary
Louise F. Burt, 93, of Sharpsville, passed away peacefully on Tuesday April 19th, 2016 at John XXII Nursing Home in Hermitage, PA.
Louise was born on August 10th, 1922 to Stevan and Anna (Mudrich) Frobouck in Glassport, PA. She graduated from Glassport High School class of 1940 and the University of Pittsburgh in 1944. Louise worked as a Teacher for Pittsburgh Area Schools from 1944 to 1953. She taught and substituted for Sharon, Hermitage, and Sharpsville School Districts, for a number of years. Louise also did secretarial work for U.S. Steel and Firth Sterling in Pittsburgh, PA. In 1947 she married her husband, the late William N. Burt III, who passed away in 1982.
She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Sharon, PA for 60 years. Louise was a member of the College Club of Sharon, Kappa Kappa Gamma, Alumni Association Gamma Epsilon Chapter at the University of Pittsburgh. She volunteered at Sharon Regional Health System and enjoyed reading, Bridge Club, golfing, and being a house wife.
Louise is survived by her son, Stephen R. and his wife Laurie A. Burt of Sharpsville, PA; four grandsons, Joshua (Nichole) Burt, Anthony (Kayla) Burt, Michael (Ashley) Burt, Will (Courtney) Burt; six great grandsons, Brayden Burt, Logan Burt, Zachary Burt, Gavin Burt, Noah Burt, and Nathan Burt.
She was preceded in death by father, Stevan Trbojevic Frobouck, mother, Anna Frobouck, husband, William N. Burt, III, son, William Burt IV, brothers Ted, Nick, and Pete, also sisters, Sophie, Sarah, Midge, and Grace.
Private Funeral Services will be held at Donaldson-Mohney Funeral Home, 124 Main St. Sharpsville, PA, at the convenience of the family.
Burial will take place in the Homewood Cemetery Pittsburgh, PA.
