Louis Smith Obituary
Louis R. Smith, 62, of West Middlesex, passed away unexpectedly of natural causes, on Friday May 16, 2014 in West Middlesex, PA.
He was born on February 27, 1952 to Richard Louis and Catherine (Fustos) Smith in Sharpsville, PA. He graduated from Sharpsville High School class of 1970. After high school, he served in the United States Air Force. Louis worked as a Millwright for Wheatland Tube.
Louis was a member of the National Rifle Association, Hidden Valley Sportsman Club, and the Wheatland American Legion. He was a firearm enthusiast who enjoyed building custom firearms and carpentry. Louis could fix anything. Most important to him was his grandchildren who he loved and was very proud of.
Louis is survived by his son - Devon L. (Kate) Smith of Sharon, PA; sister - Susan (Glen) James of Jamestown, PA; brother - Terry Smith; granddaughter - Hailey Jayne Smith; grandson - Mason Michael Smith. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by father, Richard Louis Smith, mother, Catherine Smith, and brother, Leslie Smith.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 20, 2014 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Donaldson-Mohney Funeral Home, 124 Main St. Sharpsville, PA.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, May 20, 2014, 1:00 pm at the Donaldson-Mohney Funeral Home, Sharpsville, PA with Rev. Melvin T. Baker, Temple of Praise Church, officiating.
Burial will take place in the Riverside Cemetery.
