John Frederick Cusick, 91, of Sharpsville, passed away on Monday May 13th, 2019 at his home in Sharpsville, PA.
John was born on December 15th, 1927 to David Dye and Della (Scragg) Cusick in Sharon, PA. He served in the US Army during World War II. John served as a medic on medical transport ships and made 6 trips to Europe and back to the US. After serving, John worked as a machinist for Fessler Machine Company. In 1950 he married his wife, the late Shirley Ann (Goral) Cusick, who passed away in 1997.
He was of the Methodist Faith and loved history. John enjoyed collecting antiques, taking care of his pet cats, and watching wildlife around his home.
John is survived by his sons, Kim (Sheree) Cusick of Sharpsville, PA; Scott (Theresa) Cusick of Hanoverton, OH, brothers, David Cusick of Wheatland, PA, William (Sophie) Cusick of Orangeville, OH, 8 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and daughter in law, Diane Cusick of Sharpsville, PA.
He was preceded in death by father, David Dye Cusick, mother, Della Cusick, wife, Shirley Ann Cusick, sons, Gary and John Cusick, brother, Tommy Cusick.
Per his request, no services will be held at this time.
