Joan Robinson, 80, of Greenville, passed away 4:30 am on Friday October 10, 2014 in Pittsburgh, PA.
Joan was born on July 1, 1934 to Orpha (Meikle) Miller in Warren, OH. Joan was a homemaker. On October 25, 1952 she married the late William Robinson who passed away May 6th, 1991.
She was of Protestant faith. Joan was also a member of the Transfer Grange. She enjoyed reading, crocheting, needlepoint on canvas. Joan was a loving mother and a dedicated grandmother.
Joan is survived by her daughter - Barbara S. (William I.) Miller of Greenville, PA; son - William C. (Betty L.) Robinson Jr. of Transfer, PA; sister - Mary L. Kost of Cortland, OH; granddaughter - Jennifer L. Deatrich; and great granddaughter - McKenna Leigh Deatrich.
She was preceded in death by mother, Orpha Miller, sister, Alice J. McFarland and her husband Perkins, brother, Howard Miller, and brother, Robert Miller.
Visitation will be held Sunday, October 12, 2014 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Donaldson-Mohney Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 124 Main St. Sharpsville, PA.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 13, 2014, 11:00 am at the Donaldson-Mohney Funeral Home, Sharpsville, PA, with Captain Michael Jung of the Salvation Army, officiating.
Burial will take place in the Hillcrest Memorial Park.
