James Garrett

James Garrett, 62, of Sharpsville, passed away peacefully 7:05 am on Friday July 18, 2014 in his home.
  
James was born on February 14, 1952 to James L. and Alberta (Jones) Garrett at Sharon, PA. He graduated from Sharpsville High School. James worked at Sharon Steel in the Blooming Mill and as a Shed Builder for Heartland Industries. On January 31st, 1976 he married Vanessa Messere who survives at home.
  
He enjoyed fishing and loved his Chevrolet Chevelle.
  
James is survived by his loving wife Vanessa, parents James and Alberta Garrett of Sharpsville, PA, daughter - Jennifer (Kris) Ratkowski of Wheatland, PA; 2 sons - JC (Carla) Garrett of Hermitage, PA, Jacob (Jill) Garrett of Hermitage, PA; sister - Laurie (Jim) Carucci of Sharpsville, PA; brother - Rick (Sharon) Garrett of Sharpsville, PA; and granddaughter - Lexis Garrett.
    
Friends may call Monday, July 21, 2014 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm & Monday, July 21, 2014 from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Donaldson-Mohney Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 124 Main St. Sharpsville, PA.
    
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 22, 2014, 11:00 am at the Donaldson-Mohney Funeral Home, Sharpsville, PA, with Pastor Edward Dailey, officiating.
  
Burial will take place in the Glenwood Cemetery.
