Harry Nickels Obituary
Harry E. Nickels, 91, of Greenville, passed away peacefully 7:55 pm on July 5, 2013 at White Cliff Nursing Home.
Harry was born on October 1, 1921 to Christ and Susan (Sholler) Nickels in Volant, PA. He graduated from Anna-Jonesboro Community High School. He was a veteran of World War II where he served in the United States Navy. Harry worked as a Winder for Westinghouse Inc. On December 7, 1947 he married the late Dorothy Heasley who passed away November 29th, 2010. Harry was a member of the Reynolds VFW, Greenville Moose, and enjoyed gardening.
Harry is survived by his daughter - Judith A. Simonton and her fiancé Ron Hall of Greenville, PA; son- Keith (Linda) Nickels of Sharpsville, PA; and a brother Bill (Sandra) Nickels of Tallmadge, OH. Also surviving are 2 grandchildren Sandy (Dave) Philbrick, Kelly (bob) Wick, 3 great-grandchildren Coleen Philbrick, Emily Philbrick, and Parker Wick.
He was preceded in death by father, Christ Nickels, mother, Susan Nickels, and wife, Dorothy E. Nickels.
Per Harry’s request there will be no services.
