Evelyn Louise Heim, 97, of Sharpsville, passed away peacefully on Wednesday July 4th, 2018 in Nugent Convalescent Home Hermitage, PA.
She was born on May 22nd, 1921 to Carl H. and Mary J. (Saunders) Redmond in Sharpsville, PA. On September 24th, 1938 she married her husband of 79 years, the late Theadore C. “Dutch” Heim, who passed away March 27th, 2018.
She was a member of Clark Trinity United Methodist Church, a charter member of the Clark Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary, Sawhill retirees club, and the West Middlesex Homemakers Club. She enjoyed making crafts, baking, and sewing.
Evelyn is survived by her daughter, Mary Ellen Lohman of Sharpsville, son, Richard R. (Kathy) Heim of West Middlesex, PA, 5 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren, sisters, Ilene Fell of Phoenix, AZ, Marian Gilliand of New Port Richie, FL, and brother in law, Glenn McKnight of Transfer, PA.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Mary Redmond, husband Theadore C. “Dutch” Heim, siblings, Jack, Addison, William Redmond, Dolly McKnight, and Marge Perschka.
Friends may call Monday July 9th, 2018 from 4 pm to 7 pm at Donaldson-Mohney Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 124 Main St. Sharpsville, PA.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday July 10th, 2018 at 11:00 am in the Donaldson-Mohney Funeral Home with Pastor William Locke, officiating.
Burial will take place in Americas Cemetery.
