Ercle Shacklock Obituary
Ercle E. Shacklock, 95, of Sharpsville, passed away on Friday November 4th, 2016 Nugent Convalescent Home in Hermitage, PA.
Ercle was born on September 10th, 1921 to Walter and Chloa (Lucas) DiDay in Hartford, OH. She graduated from high school. Ercle worked as a homemaker. On May 8th, 1942 she married the late Frank L. Shacklock, who passed away May 22nd, 2001
She was a member of the Sharpsville Church of the Nazerene. Ercle enjoyed sewing, reading, flower gardening, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Ercle is survived by her three daughters, Beverly (John) Giardina of Wampum, PA, Kathy (Dennis) Worona of Clark, PA, Frances Shacklock and her companion Tom Griffith of State College, PA; daughter in law, Theresa Shacklock of Mercer, PA; two sons, Dennis S. (Kathleen) Shacklock of West Middlesex, PA, Wayne S. (Andrea) Shacklock of Munhall, PA; sister, Annabelle Pavlosky; two sister in laws, Louise DiDay, Ukelle DiDay; 14 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by father, Walter DiDay, mother, Chloa DiDay, husband, Frank L. Shacklock, son, Kenneth Shacklock, granddaughter, Rebecca Giardina, 5 brothers, and 5 sisters.
Friends may call Monday November 7th, 2016 from 2 pm to 4 pm at Donaldson-Mohney Funeral Home & Cremation Service 124 Main St., Sharpsville, PA.
Funeral services will be held on Monday November 7th, 2016 at 4:00 pm in the Donaldson-Mohney Funeral Home with Rev. L.J. Powell, officiating.
Burial will take place in Americas Cemetery.
