Deborah Benedetto Obituary

Deborah Elizabeth Benedetto, 68 of Hermitage passed away peacefully on October 15th, 2024, in UPMC Passavant Hospital following an extended illness.

Deborah was born February 23, 1956, to Angela (Fustos) and Domenic Anthony Benedetto in Sharon, PA. She was a graduate of Sharpsville High School class of 1974 and the Sharon General School of Nursing where she earned her Registered Nurse degree. Deborah worked for multiple health care organizations in the area, most recently for St. Paul’s Homes in Greenville, PA.

Deborah was an unselfish and kind person who was the epitome of a nurse. She truly enjoyed taking care of others both professionally and personally. She especially loved spending time with her family, and she was their biggest and, at times, loudest fan. She was a bell ringer with the Celebration Community Ringers performing concerts on special occasions. She was a member of Orangeville Baptist Church where she stayed active in church activities. Deborah enjoyed reading her bible, playing cards, dinner and lunch with friends/family and she was known as the best gift giver. Everybody wished they had an Aunt Deb.

Deborah is survived by her brother, Mark Benedetto and his wife, Tonya, of Sharpsville, nieces and nephews, Mark Benedetto and his wife, Madeleine, Michael Benedetto, Brittany Muszik and her husband, Jon, John Benedetto and fiancé, Krista Simcoe, Brett Benedetto and his wife, Amanda, Billy Castle and his wife, Lea, Rachel Castle, and Jillian Mora as well as numerous great nieces and nephews Dominic, Franco, Cecilia, Wesley, Addie, Jax, Livia, Elam, Sarah, and Evan.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Angela and Domenic Benedetto, brother Dennis Benedetto, and sisters, Kamiel Platteborze, and Kristina Quattlander.
