David Roy Mizner

David Roy Mizner, 79 of Hermitage passed away Monday November 10th, 2025 in his home.

David was born July 12th, 1946 to Dorothy R. (Sobeck) and Donald L. Mizner in Sharon, PA. After graduating high school, David served in the US Army during the Vietnam War. Following his honorable discharge, he worked as a chemist, laboratory supervisor, and environmental specialist.

He was a member of the former Calvary Lutheran Church and currently the Christ Lutheran Church in Sharon, PA. David enjoyed photography, coin collecting, shooting, birding, and watching the animals in his backyard. He was also a member of the National Rifle Association and Bayou Rifles, Inc. of Houston, TX.

David is survived by his aunt Alice Gabany and many cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dorothy R. and Donald L. Mizner, and brother, Donald J. Mizner.

Friends may call Friday November 14th, 2025 from12:00 pm to 1:00 pm in the Donaldson-Mohney Funeral Home 124 W. Main St. Sharpsville, PA.

Funeral services will be held Friday November 14th, 2025 at 1:00 pm in the funeral home with Pastor Dennis Blauser officiating. Full military honors will be offered in the funeral home due to weather considerations.
