Clarence L. Miller, 90, of Fairview, PA, passed away peacefully 11:02 am on February 16, 2014 at Fairview Manor in Fairview, PA.
Clarence was born on August 24, 1923 to John and Lydia Ellen (Zook) Miller in Pulaski, PA. Clarence worked at Sharon Steel and later for 25 years as Foreman of Grounds for Westminster College. He married the late Marguerite Jane Trapasso who passed away October 16th, 2004.
He was a member of Charleston United Methodist Church. He enjoyed bird watching, gardening, helping his neighbors and friends, but most importantly loved his family.
Clarence is survived by his 2 daughters - Ellen (Lou) DiPlacido of Erie, PA, Betty Mansel of Erie, PA; 2 sons - George (Carolee) Miller of Hawthorne, NV, and John (Deb) Trapasso of Greensburg, PA. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by father, John Miller, mother, Lydia Ellen Miller, beautiful wife, Marguerite Jane Miller, brother, Harold Miller, sister, Vera Kaufman, and granddaughter, Darcy Mansel.
Friends may call Wednesday, February 19, 2014 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Donaldson-Mohney Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 124 Main St. Sharpsville, PA.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 20, 2014, 11:00 am at the Charleston United Methodist Church with Rev. William Locke, officiating.
Burial will take place in the Mount Washington Cemetery.
