Clara Campagna Combine Obituary
Clara Campagna Combine, formerly of Sharpsville passed away on January 13th, 2016. She was 98 years old.
Clara was the daughter of the late Mary and Joe Tranick and step daughter of Steve Nemeth. She was preceded in death by her husband Louis Campagna Combine of Sharpsville and her former husband, Nick Kostoff of Hartford Township. Clara was also preceded in death by her son, Gregory Kostoff, her brothers, John Tranick (Helen), Steve Tranick (Mary), Joe Tranick(Margaret) and Louis Tranick, her sisters, Ann Nuzola (Victor), Elizabeth Griz (Andy), Margaret Goncz (Steve), and Goldie Dobos (Joseph).
Clara is survived by, her daughters Sally Wygant Radford (Joe) of Sharpsville, Carrie Goral (Ray) of Masury, her son Nick Kostoff (Karen) of Uniontown, Ohio, 7 grandchildren (Tami, Billy, Jodi, Jill, Nicholas, Kara, & Matthew), 9 great grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren.
Clara was a member of Saint Bartholomew Catholic Church in Sharpsville and a member of the Hungarian Social Club.
Clara enjoyed gardening. During her early years she raised tomatoes, peppers and other vegetables and sold them at the Farmers’ Market in Farrell. During her later years she continued to have a vegetable garden in her back yard. She enjoyed raising plants from seeds and sharing the produce with her family and neighbors.
In addition to gardening she enjoyed fishing, bowling, and dancing. She took pleasure in reminiscing about Ballroom dancing at Idora Park and about being chosen by Arthur Murray to be his dance partner for a dance.
Clara was a very good cook and was known for her homemade pasta and baked goods. She had a great sense of humor and was a sweet and fun lady. She was a loving mother and will be greatly missed.
Friends may call Saturday January 16th, 2016 from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm at the Donaldson-Mohney Funeral Home & Cremation Service 124 Main St. Sharpsville, PA 16150.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, January 16th, 2016, 1:00 pm at St. Bartholomew’s Roman Catholic Church Sharon, PA with Father Matthew Strickenberger, officiating.
Burial will take place in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
