Anthony "Sonny" Marriotti

Anthony “Sonny” Marriotti, 82 of Sharpsville, passed away peacefully on December 7th, 2024 in his home with his family at his side.

Anthony was born August 13th,1942 to Stella (Rossi) and Anthony D. Marriotti Sr. in Sharon, PA. He was a graduate of Sharpsville High School class of 1960. Following high school, Anthony served in the US Army during the Vietnam War. He worked for Leaseway as a truck driver and auto hauler, for over 35 years until his retirement. On July 13th, 2012 he married his wife, Elaine M. (Szklinski) Marriotti, who survives at home.

He was of Catholic faith and a member of both the Sharpsville VFW and Sharpsville American Legion. Anthony enjoyed being outdoors hunting and fishing.

He is survived by his wife, Elaine M. Marriotti at home, brothers, Robert (Sherry) Marriotti of Hermitage, David (Michelle) Marriotti of Sharpsville, sons, Bryan (Wendy) Marriotti of Sharpsville, Christopher (Sheri) Marriotti of Sharpsville, grandchildren, Michael (Ashley), Nicholas (Stephanie), Kristina (Tim), Brittany (Ian), Megan (Keane), Zakkary, Justin, Jenna, great grandchildren, Cooper, Paisley, Eli, Alaina, Maddox, and Bailey.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Richard Marriotti, and son, Michael Anthony Marriotti.

Friends may call Wednesday December 11th, 2024 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm in the Donaldson-Mohney Funeral Home 124 W. Main St. Sharpsville, PA.

Closing prayers will be said at 7:00 pm in the Donaldson-Mohney Funeral Home with full military honors offered.

Burial will take place in St. Mary’s Cemetery Hermitage, PA.
