Alan D. Miller I, 60, of Greenville, passed away following a brief illness, 4:05 pm on Thursday September 18, 2014 at his home in Greenville, PA.
Alan was born on April 11, 1954 to Joseph L. and Naomi C. (Williams) Miller in Transfer, PA. After receiving his diploma Alan worked 6 years as a laborer for Powered Aire. Alan also worked 10 years for M&R Power equipment.
He was of Protestant faith and a member of the Greenville Moose Lodge # 276. Alan enjoyed building street rods and trike motorcycles. He was an avid hunter and loved his dog Brodix.
Alan is survived by his daughter - Tonya L. Miller of Sharpsville, PA; son - Alan D. Miller II of Greenville, PA; ex-wife - Kathy L. Peterson of Greenville, PA; 3 brothers - Joseph C. Miller and his companion Carolyn A. Seidle both of Greenville, PA, Arthur K. Miller and his companion Linda of Greenville, PA, Jeffery P. Miller and his wife Linda of Transfer, PA.
He was preceded in death by father, Joseph L. Miller, mother, Naomi C. Miller, and brother, Kevin Miller.
A private family service will be held for Alan.
