To the members of Don's family:
Mark and I had the pleasure of meeting Don when he was chosen as one of three veterans to represent all Mercer County at the Mercer Memorial Day 500, many years ago. We were very moved by his story of service during WW2 in the Pacific, and it is still on the 500's website, though we are retired. We have fond memories of Don. He was always so nice and thoughtful and loyally supportive of the Mercer County Veterans Council in which we also served.  I remember Winnie, also, telling me once, when the four of us were climbing the steps up to the Court House bandstand,  that if we were ever going to travel, we should do it before we got too old! Good advice! Hi to her. The Browns.
