Alissa Joy Sutton was born December 21, 1985, and died March 5, 2021. She had medical issues from birth which gave her problems intermittently throughout her life, increasingly over the last two years, and ultimately took her life; these medical issues were the door her loving heavenly Father used to bring her home to eternal joy in his presence forevermore.

In spite of her medical issues, her Lord gave her many good years and much joy, and made her a source of joy to many people who had a part in her life, especially her church family whom she loved dearly. She loved and trusted the Lord Jesus, who died for us so that we could have everlasting life, and now she is with him and with much beloved friends and family who went before her. She is deeply missed by family and loved ones, but the grief is tempered by the assurance that the struggles of this life are over forever

Alissa is survived by her parents, Wayne and Debra Sutton, her grandfather, Bruce Sutton, her sister Amber Bryan and husband Nate Bryan and their children Mikey, Hadi, and Elijah; her sister Anna Sutton; her sister Amanda McCaslin and husband Jim McCaslin and their sons Thrayce and Athens; her sister Jokaysha Sutton and her children Kaya Parker and Reyna Parker; her sisters Janaea Sutton and Ariyah Sutton, and her brothers Daniel Sutton, Robert Sutton, and Jerome McKenith, as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Alissa was preceded in death by her Grandparents, Alan and Mavis Starch, and Myrtle Sutton, by her brother, Carlos Sutton, and her beloved Aunt Sue Emelander.

Friends may call Monday March 8th, 2021 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm in the Donaldson-Mohney Funeral Home 124 W Main St. Sharpsville, PA.

A funeral service will be held Tuesday March 9th, 2021 at 2:00 pm in the First Baptist Church 185 Union Ave. Sharpsville, PA. Friends are welcome to meet directly at church.

Burial will take place at Riverside Cemetery

Dear Wayne and Debra and all the family,
We were quite saddened to hear of Alissa's Homegoing; and yet so happy for her to be in the presence of the Lord. We remember well her first week of life and all the prayers we lifted up on your behalf at that time and through the years. I was so glad I was able to see her again a few years ago when we joined the family along with my mother Jane, her grandpa Bruce, and Aunt Ruth. What a delight to get to know her again. Still the delightful little girl who loved to play. And such a mother hen over her little sisters. May the Lord comfort you with lots of sweet memories to treasure and pass along.
Looking to Jesus, Celia and Keith
