An ole' girlfriend from Hickory High School. Went to a Sharpsville game with a girlfriend, Sherry, and met Charlie. He was a great guy. So much fun and always smiling. We dated for quite a long time. I wanted to let you know who I was. I am sending ALL my sympathy and sadness to his wife and family. Good memories help bring comfort. So VERY sorry. Joan.

I worked at Erme's Inc (my uncle) while in college back in the 1980s. I learned from and laughed a lot with Charlie (and Big Bob and Yepper). Always had to be on my toes as the young guy for their good-natured humor and ribbing. Great card player too. RIP Charlie.
