Vera Herrmann, 93, lifelong resident of Sharpsville, passed away peacefully on Thursday December 6th, 2018 at her home in Sharpsville, PA.
Vera was born on May 27th, 1925 to Simon and Clara (Starr) McMath in Turtle Creek, PA. She was a graduate of Sharpsville High School. Vera worked various places before working in the cafeteria for Sharpsville Area School District, until her retirement.
She was a lifelong member of St. Bartholomew R.C. Church and VFW Post 6404 both in Sharpsville. She was an avid card player who loved to cook and bake. Her biggest passion was her family and she loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Vera is survived by her daughter, Deborah Moore, daughter in law, Joni Abbott, sons, Ronald (Heather) Abbott, Roger (Janet) Herrmann all of Sharpsville, Charles Herrmann of Ohio, and step daughter, Sherry Weiser of West Middlesex. Also surviving are 14 grandchildren and numerous great and great great grandchildren.  
She was preceded in death by father, Simon McMath, mother, Clara McMath, husbands, Fred Earl Abbott and Walter Lester Herrmann, step son, Keith Henry Herrmann, and son, Fred William Abbott.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, December 10th, 2018, 10:30 am in the St. Bartholomew Catholic Church, Sharpsville, PA, with Very Rev. Richard J. Allen E.V., officiating.
Burial will take place in St. Marys Cemetery.
Arrangements entrusted to Donaldson-Mohney Funeral Home & Cremation Service.

I have sooooo many childhood memories of you and everything you taught me from doing cartwheels with you at Grandma McMath ‘s house with Robin & I tohelping me when Sean Michale was a Baby. You have been so missed and will continue to be missed from now on.

So very sorry to hear about Aunt Vera. She was such a special lady. She had such sense of humor! She was always one of my favorite aunt's & have many good memories regarding her. She will be missed.
