Janet Ellen Moats, 83, of Clark, passed away on Thursday June 7th, 2018 at her home in Clark, PA surrounded by her family.  
Janet was born on December 27, 1934 to Carl and Dorothy (Mattocks) McKee in Sharon, PA. She graduated from Hickory High School class of 1952. Janet worked as a tax collector for the Borough of Clark. On December 21st, 1954 she married her husband Robert Moats who survives at home.
She was a member of Clark Trinity United Methodist Church. Janet served as Past President of the Clark Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary and also the Clark Community League. Most important to her was spending time with her family.
Janet is survived by her loving husband Robert, two daughters, Julie (Randy) Tidd, Barbara (James) Sheehan; son, Brian (Deanna) Moats; four grandsons, Evan Tidd, Jacob Moats, Matthew Moats, Michael Moats, sisters, Judith Paul, Jeanne Walters, and Nancy Hassel.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, James McKee, Carl McKee, and sister, Joan Andrews.
Friends are welcome to gather Monday June 11th, 2018, 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at Clark Trinity United Methodist Church.
Funeral services will be held on Monday June 11th, 2018, 12:00 pm at the Clark Trinity United Methodist Church with Rev. William Locke, officiating.
Burial will take place in the Clark Citizens Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be sent to Clark Trinity United Methodist Church or charity of donors’ choice.
