Agnes Louise “Weezie” Volansky, 82, of Sharpsville, passed away peacefully on Sunday September 4th, 2016 at Sharon Regional Health System in Sharon, PA surrounded by her husband Ed and her loving family and friends.  
Agnes was born on November 16th, 1933 to Frank and Elizabeth (Bornes) Gelesky in South Pymatuning Township, PA. She graduated from Hartford High School. On November 26th, 1957 she married her husband Edward Volansky, who survives at home. Ed and Weezie have been married 58 years. They met at a church picnic and have been devoted to eachother since. You never saw one without the other.

Weezie spent many hours with Ed at the Sharpsville High School concession stands for football, basketball, and baseball. They volunteered from 1994-2013. Many would see her bagging popcorn and cooking hotdogs. She was also a member of the Sharpsville VFW Auxiliary Post 6404 where she made popcorn balls and dressed up as Mrs. Claus.
Weezie leaves behind her loving husband Edward, nephew, George Palko and his wife Julie of AZ, a special cousin, Mary Elizabeth Rufener and her husband Richard, also surviving are her “adopted” grandchildren, Peggy and Jerry Fairchild & children, John and Melinda Scott & family, Marie and Greg Popatak & family, Earl and Cheryl Scott & family, Annette and Don Baltes, Marty Caracci, and Matt Hoffman.
She was preceded in death by father, Frank Gelesky, mother, Elizabeth Gelesky, brother Francis Gelesky, sister Katherine (Gelesky) Palko, and nephew David Palko.
Friends may call Wednesday, September 7th, 2016, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Donaldson-Mohney Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 124 Main St. Sharpsville, PA.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 8th, 2016, 11:00 am at the Donaldson-Mohney Funeral Home, Sharpsville, PA, with Father Matt Strickenberger, officiating.
Burial will take place in the Oakwood Cemetery.
Arrangements entrusted to the Donaldson-Mohney Funeral Home & Cremation Service.

Let me offer my condolences to you in the passing of Louise. It has been a long time but I still remember you both. George, advised me and told me the two of you remained a loving couple all these years and that you have folks that will continue to check on you daily.

My heart goes out to you Ed for the passing of Weezie. I will always cherish my time and memories of her both as a child and adult. Don and my prayers and thoughts are with you.

I was told you remembered me if not that is ok. I remember you and Weezie very well. You two were always great to stop and visit and talk as we rode our bikes around the neighborhood.
