Helen "Lennie" L. Hawkins, 55, of 214 High Street Sharpsville, PA passed away 3:50 am on June 5, 2012 at her residence following a courageous battle with cancer.  
  
She was born on August 20, 1956 to George Doyle and Catherine Loretta (Shaffer) Bochert in Sharon, PA. She graduated from Sharpsville High School class of 1974. Helen worked as an Assembler for Strive Enterprises Inc. Reynolds, PA for 13 years.
  
Helen was of protestant faith. She liked computers and spending time with her pets, especially Kate. Helen loved spending time with her family. She was an avid Donny Osmond fan.
  
Helen is survived by her special friend Denise C. Bacich of Sharpsville, PA, 5 daughters - Rachael Bacich of Sharpsville, PA, Ashley Bacich of Sharpsville, PA, Miranda Parrish of West Middlesex, PA, Alyssa Bacich of Hermitage, PA, Courtney Bacich of Sharpsville, PA, Hayley Bacich of Sharpsville, PA; son - Ronald J. (Barbara) Hawkins of Sharpsville, PA, niece Deana J. Smolnik and her companion Sheri Smolnik of CA; 2 nephews - Michael (Julie) Smolnik of Grove City, PA, Logan Hawkins of Sharpsville, PA; great nephew - Jason Hawkins of Sharpsville, PA; 2 sisters - Ginger A. (James) Smith of Mercer, PA, and her twin Leatrice J. (Terry) Smolnik of Mercer, PA, former husband - Ron Hawkins of Sharpsville, PA. Also surviving are her loving pets Katie, Matty, Henry, 2 birds, and Whitey.
  
She was preceded in death by father, George Doyle Bochert, mother, Catherine Loretta Bochert, her grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
  
Visitation will be held Thursday, June 7th, 2012 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm in the Donaldson-Mohney Funeral Home, 124 Main St. Sharpsville, PA.
    
Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 8, 2012 at 11:00 am in the Donaldson-Mohney Funeral Home, Sharpsville, PA, with Chaplain Cary Parsons, officiating.
  
Burial will take place in the Hillcrest Memorial Park Hermitage, PA.

My very deepest sympathies to Lee, Ginger and your families. Lennie was one amazing and strong woman...she fought a hard battle with allot of spunk!! Now she is resting in the arms of God. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you with the loss of a very dear person today. Lennie was a great person. She will be missed by lots of people. Lennie was a good person to work with. I am so glad I got to see you @ the end of May. I know we were never best of friends but we had memories together as classmates, we were sister-in-laws, & friends. We had some deep conversations & many bouts of laughter. I will miss you but you will live forever in my memories & my dreams. RIP my dear friend. Tell Klint we miss him. Love ya The Rat!

I was thinking of you right now as I have from time to time and I decided to go to your page and have just found out you have gone to be with the angels my dear friend. I will miss U my friend. I met you on farm town and we became good friends, You shared lots of personal stuff with me, thank you. I will always treasure our friendship. Maybe one day we will meet in heaven.
