Richard John Groscost, 55, of Sharpsville passed away February 6th, 2024 in his home.
Richard was born March 13th, 1968 in Hubbard, OH to Jane (Jovenall) Trobek and David Groscost. He was a graduate of Hubbard High School and honorably served in the US Army during the Gulf War. Richard enjoyed target shooting and betting on “the ponies”. He was a die-hard sports fan who followed the Pittsburgh Pirates, Penguins, and Miami Dolphins. Richard loved attending the games with his daughter and son.
He is survived by his daughter, Sara Groscost of Pittsburgh, PA, son, Christopher Groscost of Sharpsville, PA, beloved dog, his blue heeler, Kira, mother, Jane (Jack) Trobek, father, David Groscost, brothers, Chris (Stephanie) Groscost, Brian (Tonya) Groscost ,aunts, Donna (Joe) DeMay, Rosie (George) Sablack, nieces, Kaitlin and Olivia Groscost.
Richard was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jennie and Dominic Jovenall, Elizabeth and Charles Groscost.
Per his request, no services will be held at this time.
Burial will take place in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
